LOOKS ARE DECEPTIVE

Though i have been on this beautiful world for past 21 years and roughly 8 months added to it.But never felt the need to record the lessons of life. But its never late to start . So, here i begin with my first experience so, that in future . I am never short of stories.Aren't stories very nice provided they are short.Life definitely is a patient teacher(not the other patient who is being nursed by a beautiful girl), it will always look for the right time and location to teach and test you. That is why it is said life teaches lessons very harshly.
Hey.....wait... don't lose interest i won't continue with my boring philosphy.

So, here goes the story. I was visiting gurudwara sahib SINGH SHAHEEDAN, sohana to pay obesiance . After paying obesiance when i was coming out i found a book stall at a corner. As reading being my hobby never ever lose a chance of browsing through books. So, i went upto the book stall.Just about when i was to pick the book. The bookseller stopped and handed me a cassette of gurmat in punjabi, though it was a book stall he was having cassette's also. I said," No, i am looking for a book.He said"Ok and handed me a book in punjabi".I was again surprised that what is up with this uncle ji.I said no i am looking for one in english. Before giving the book he simply asked me,"ki tusi padh sakoge eh book? Will you be able to read this book". I replied,"yes of course".The next thing he did is most hilarious. He simply stared at me in bewilderment and handed the book to me. being an avid reader when you encounter such situations one feel's like telling the other hey dude you don't know or i can say i even dont know how many books i have read. But reading has one advantage it will never let you boost about it because when you visit libraries or bookshops you know how deep the ocean of books is and one is not even any where near to the start also. Here even being a punjabi will also not affect you because punjabi's are known to be flaunty. So, i maintained cool and started reading the review on the back cover and then a little bit of foreword to get the idea of the book.In the meantime uncle'ji was closely scrutinizing my every action and by the time i finished .He asked me," what you do".I answered"i am a final year engineering student."Didn't find it important to tell my branch i.e. computer science because i was never a practical computer engineer so, no right to claim the tag.He asked me the place and name of the college. I just answered him diligently as i do whenever asked. Then he started me showing the other books and was looking quite interested in doing that. Now this time i was astonished. Wassup uncle ji itni jaldi change. Being a man of 40 plus age he was able to read my doubt and said," the way you were looking at the book that first you read the review and foreword assured me that neither you are new to reading and nor you are unable to read this language".I just smiled and kept the book back, while coming back i was wondering do looks matter in proving that one is educated or capable enough. Came back home went straight to my room and looked myself in the mirror and definitely. Looks do matter. Won't tell you the details of what i was wearing , how i was looking because it has only one answer that i was looking pathetic.
But nevertheless it won't affect me because in the end he was able to recognise my capability and even without my proving it.So, as one of my friends PAWAN says," Don't be desperate , things will definitely fall in proper place at proper time." The same thing happened today. Learning from lessons of life and good friends are very important as each and every word of their's has some meaning, one must be able to connect to the words properly.
